Kickstarter Indie Comic Book Round Up!
For September 1, 2019
The Ferryman #2
![]() |
| The Ferryman #2 by Sean Campbell |
This is the second entry in Sean Campbell's Ferryman series. It's a dystopian near future in the tradition of Altered Carbon, the Black Mirror, and the Twilight Zone. Technological advances have made death, life, and the question "what does it mean to be human" more challenging to answer. An afterlife of sorts is up for sale, and managed by a powerful corporation.
One of the protagonists of the story is a collector of digital copies of human consciousness - captured by neural implants and, and upon the owner's death - extracted and uploaded to a virtual heaven.
If you missed the first entry in this series, the current campaign offers a chance to purchase the original comic book. Contact the creator Sean Campbell on Twitter with questions at @SeanCampbell
This Comic Book is $10 + shipping, full color and 36 pages.
